Does a tree sprinkled with hoar frost make you want to snuggle up in a traditional aran sweater, or do you want to wrap yourself in a soft Shetland scarf? Perhaps it reminds you of delicate lace and you can picture a crisp white doily on your table, or do you like the idea of custom designed throws scattered around the home so that you can envelop yourself with comforting warmth when the weather turns chill?

If a misty morning conjures thoughts of soft lace, or the sharp frost of an autumn day makes you feel like a country walk in a warm gansey, whatever your vision, I can translate it into something uniquely yours. All of my designs are based on the ideas that you give me and no item will ever be copied for anyone else. 

Express your personality through the colours that you choose, or create a complete change of mood simply by draping your favourite armchair with a vibrant throw or softening it with cushion covers in different neutral shades of pure natural fibres. 

If you want to give your bears or dolls a new personality I also make sweaters for them in all shapes and sizes, including traditional arans, fair isles and guernseys.

I have a special interest in historical knitting and have a large collection of vintage patterns which I can alter and adapt to fit all sizes.  I can also work from sketches or pictures if you have your own ideas of what you would like and can re-create historical items for plays, films and re-enactments.
